1. Use of the Website

You may browse and use this site for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

2. Estimates & Authorization

• Estimates are good-faith approximations based on the information available at the time. Additional issues discovered during repair may change the final price; we'll contact you before any work outside the original authorization is performed.
• By dropping off a vehicle and authorizing repairs (in writing, verbally, or electronically), you confirm you are the owner or authorized agent and you agree to pay for the work performed.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements (including third-party financing) have been agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit, cash, and approved financing. Vehicles not picked up after notification of completion may be subject to storage fees.

4. Warranties

We stand behind our workmanship. Repairs are covered by our shop warranty for the period stated on your invoice (or as required by applicable law), whichever is longer. Parts warranties are passed through from the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, modifications, or normal wear.

5. Customer-Supplied Parts

We may decline to install customer-supplied parts. When we do install them, our warranty covers labor only — the part itself carries no warranty from us.

6. Vehicle Storage & Abandonment

Vehicles left on our property after authorized work is complete and after reasonable notice has been given may be subject to daily storage fees and, if unclaimed long enough, may be processed as abandoned vehicles under Idaho law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of work performed or the use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the related service. We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our site may link to third-party websites (financing partners, review platforms, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of The Automotive Shop or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or redistribute content without permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jerome County, Idaho.
