Our Story
The Automotive Shop is a family-run repair shop in Jerome, Idaho. We opened our doors because the Magic Valley deserved a place where honest work, fair prices, and real expertise came standard — not as a marketing line, but as the way we actually do business every day.
What started as one bay and a phone has grown into a full-service shop covering everything from passenger cars to Class 8 semis. We still answer the phone ourselves. We still hand-write estimates and walk customers through what we found. And we still treat every truck on the lift like it belongs to family — because around here, half the time it actually does.

We are a working shop, not a showroom. On any given day the lifts are full of daily drivers, work trucks, diesels, and the occasional semi — each one getting the same careful diagnosis and the same straight answer about what it needs.
