Most of what rolls through our bay is the kind of vehicle people actually drive every day — a Camry that commutes from Wendell to Twin Falls, an F-150 that hauls hay on the weekend, a minivan running kids to practice in Kimberly, a 4Runner that’s seen every back road from Hagerman to Shoshone. Cars and light trucks are the backbone of our shop, and we treat them with the same care we give the big diesels and semis.
Magic Valley driving is harder on light-duty vehicles than it looks. Frost heave in spring chews up tires and alignment. Harvest dust loads air filters. Gravel roads through the dairy country wear out wheel bearings and suspension. Long commutes on I-84 put real miles on engines and transmissions. We see the same wear patterns over and over, and we know what to check before it turns into a bigger bill.
What we work on
- Gas cars, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and hybrids — all makes.
- Half-ton and three-quarter-ton pickups — F-150, Silverado, Ram 1500, Tundra, Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado, and more.
- Full oil changes and scheduled maintenance.
- Brake service — pads, rotors, calipers, ABS.
- Engine diagnostics and repair — check-engine lights, misfires, timing, head gaskets.
- Suspension, steering, and alignment on stock and lifted trucks.
- Cooling, AC, electrical, fuel, exhaust, and transmission work — under one roof.
Honest diagnostics first
A check engine light is information, not a diagnosis. We hook the scan tool up, pull live data, and tell you what the truck is actually doing — not just what code it threw. A P0420 isn’t always a catalytic converter. A misfire isn’t always a bad coil. We test before we sell parts.
Daily drivers and family vehicles
The car or SUV your family depends on doesn’t need to be at the dealer for routine work. We do oil changes, brakes, tires, batteries, alignments, cooling system service, and the bigger jobs too — timing chains, water pumps, transmission service, ball joints, wheel bearings. We give written estimates before we start, and we call before we add anything to the bill.
Half-ton and three-quarter-ton trucks
Around here, a pickup is a tool. It hauls trailers, pulls campers, runs feed, and still has to do school pickup on Friday. Light-duty trucks often see harder use than the people who built them ever imagined, so the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain wear faster. We work on lifted trucks too — and we’ll be honest about what a 6-inch lift is doing to your ball joints, CV axles, and front bearings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work on all makes and models?
Yes. Domestic, import, gas, and hybrid — cars, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and half-ton and three-quarter-ton pickups. If we ever see something we can’t service, we’ll tell you up front.
How often should I bring my car in for maintenance?
Most modern vehicles do well with an oil change and inspection every 5,000 miles or once a year, plus tire rotations and a full once-over twice a year. We tailor it to how you drive — commuter, farm use, or in-town only.
My check engine light is on. Should I keep driving?
A steady light usually means it can be driven in for diagnostics soon. A flashing light means stop driving and call us — that one indicates a misfire that can damage the catalytic converter.
Can you handle suspension and steering on lifted half-tons?
Yes. We align lifted trucks, replace ball joints, tie rods, hubs, and U-joints, and we’ll be straight with you about what the lift kit is doing to the rest of the front end.
Do you offer financing for bigger repairs?
Talk to us when you’re here. We work with customers on timing, parts options, and what truly has to be done now versus what can wait.
